What is Reiki?
Reiki is the healing energy of the Universe which originated in Japan at the turn of the 20th Century. A Reiki practitioner harnesses this energy from a series of attunements which in effect, switch on the ability to transfer Reiki energy to oneself and others. This energy is used in a variety of ways to restore the Mind, Body and Spirit into a harmonious state. It heals the primary cause of illness as well as its physical manifestations. Both the giver and receiver benefit from this healing energy.
What is a Body Detox?
An alternative treatment that aims to rid the body of unspecified toxins, and free radical substances that have accumulated in the body. Partaking in a body detox provides short and long term effects on one’s health. This is done by removing impurities from the blood, in the liver where they are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system and skin.
